The Candidate:  

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and organized project manager who has the capabilities to lead a job from concept to completion.

The successful candidate must be able to take on responsibility, work to deadlines, work in a team and manage projects overseen by the director. The role will involve working in a team with the director, architect, interior designer, M & E, Structural Engineer and Quantity Surveyor.

Being flexible, efficient and good at multitasking as well as being able to work under pressure are key skills for this role.

Good problem solving skills are essential, along with resilience to deliver complex building projects on time and on budget. Knowledge of the construction industry is essential. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand the role of Principal Contractor
  • Experience of setting up a site and site office
  • Liaising with various professionals i.e architect, interior designer, M & E, Structural Engineer and Quantity Surveyor.
  • Holding the contractors to account for project delivery
  • Identify any potential problems at an early stage
  • Maintaining a high level of Health & Safety awareness
  • Chair and attend site meetings
  • Knowledge of building control and planning regulations

What We're Looking for:

  • An experienced Construction Manager 5+ years’ experience of residential or mixed-use developers or main-contractors in London.
  • The successful candidate should display leadership qualities, professional management skills, good communication and organization abilities and problem solving experience.
  • You need to be dependable and able to operate in a senior capacity when liaising with other departments

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • AutoCAD (Not essential)
